I was tasked with helping BJC solidify themselves as a legitimate brand and stand out with professionalism and a strong, recognisable identity. We wanted to help BJC be noticed in his local area and become a well-known, approachable name within the community.
We worked from the ground up, building a professional brand with a Logo and unified brand identity for BJC to solidify his visual presence, as well as developing marketing material to be distributed and displayed in his local area.
This content helped to solidify BJC as a new but trustworthy Carpenter in his local area, and helped to increase Bryce’s confidence in his business by creating a brand he could be proud of. He has seen a huge boost in business following the distribution of marketing materials, and continues to receive enquiries and referrals from new customers today.
"I reached out to Jonathan to create a logo and a flyer for my carpentry business. The flyers had an immediate response from new clients which secured me 3 jobs so far out of a batch of 1000. Clients have said the flyers stand out from the rest as they're much better quality than they usually see in their mailbox."
Bryce started his own carpentry business after finishing his apprenticeship, and wanted to expand his clientele beyond his own friends and family. With a wide range of services to offer, he was ready to expand and make a name for himself as the local go-to carpenter in his area. Bryce realised he could not keep relying on work to come to him, and needed to take action to reach a new base of clients.
I met with Bryce to discuss his individual needs, and create a goal-oriented solution to suit his unique brand. We needed to develop an authentic, recognisable visual identity for BJC, that would resonate with clients and help him establish himself as a household name within his local area. We wanted to ensure that he remained approachable but professional, as the local tradie to choose for whatever jobs people had.
We made the decision to create paper flyers to be delivered into local mailboxes. Despite this often seeming like a dated method, we knew that well designed flyers would help establish him as the local tradie to call and keep him at the forefront of people’s minds. In the current online climate, particularly in a post-COVID world, distributing hard-copy marketing material was a risk, as we didn’t know how it would be received.
We chose to combat this by producing high-quality, eye-catching flyers that would stand out amidst a pile of scrap-paper in the mailbox, in order to avoid flyers being thrown out as soon as they were received. Producing a tactile, visual advertisement that could be stuck on the fridge or placed in a cupboard until needed has proven a valuable choice, as many clients have inquired and referenced the flyers they received in the mail.
